Disney's Coco Reo Māori

I’m very excited to announce that the Te Reo translation of Disney’s Coco is in cinemas from July 13th! 

I lent my voice to the character Ernesto De La Cruz for this film (check out the snippet above)

On this project it was so awesome to learn about the similarities between Mexican culture and ours. It was also so much fun to work alongside some mega talented artists like Troy Kingi, Rob Ruha and Pere Wihongi.

I am SO excited to share this film with you all and even more excited for the beautiful WAIATA that were written in Te Reo especially for this project!

Something tells me we’re going to be singing these waiata a lot in our classrooms the next few months… 😉

Keep your eyes peeled for the movie in cinemas near you just in time for Matariki!
